Surancebay
Instructions

Step 1

What you’ll need:

  • A device that is equipped with Adobe Flash.

While Mac is compatible, IPhones and IPads DO NOT support SuranceBay 

  • Resident Insurance License

  • Voided check 

  • Copy of your E&O Insurance

 
Step 2

Get Appointed with Insurance Carriers through SuranceBay:
 

  • Create an account with SuranceBay by using the link sent to you AFTER on-boarding with HCMS. Even if you have an existing or previous SuranceBay user ID,  CREATE A NEW ONE.

If you do not have a link text the Admin Team.

  • Complete your profile in SuranceBay and upload your license, E&O, and voided check or Direct Deposit form.​​

 

Continue to Contracting Requests

  • When it asks "have you finished FINRA AML training"

Select NO

LTC Writer "NO!"

  • Once you complete your profile you need to go to contract requests
    and complete each of them. Once you are done you will have a
    "BGA (4)" tab at the top of the page. 

Only fill in Required fields. Fields with an “*” 

 
STEP 3

Your contract requests should move from "BGA" to "At Carrier":

   * Check the date the contracting was sent out 

   * If it shows:  Producer- You did not fully submit 

   *BGA- it will be sent to the carrier in the next 24 hours 

   *Carrier- the contract is with the carrier and you will need to call them directly to check up on it

 

   *If your Surancebay is complete contact the carrier directly to check the status

**Not all requests will move to complete, if you receive a writing number, you are set!**
