STEP 1:
PREPARE TO GET CONTRACTED 

  1. Insurance License 

  2. Copy of your Valid ID (this will be input into SureLC)

  3. Errors & Omissions Insurance  (Purchase HERE)

    • Life, accident, health, LTC, disability, including Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplements, employee benefits administration PLUS Fixed & Indexed Annuities

  4. Voided Check or Direct Deposit Form from your bank

    • If you use the direct deposit form Leave the employer blank​

STEP 2:
PROSPERITY & COMPLETING PROSPERITY AML TRAINING

You will receive a personalized link from your UPLINE to sign up with Prosperity. Use the link provided in your email to start contracting with Prosperity. IF YOU ARE MISSING THIS PERSONALIZED LINK, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR UPLINE.

  • Advancement turned on

  • 9 months on ISSUE / Not settle

  • $3,000 MAX comp

If you receive this error NIPR has not updated.
 
It can take up to 48 hours for 
their system to update.

At the end of the appointment complete the Prosperity AML course

STEP 3:
GETTING APPOINTED WITH
HCMS & ALL OTHER CARRIERS

You will receive an onboarding email to create your HCMS profile from:

(no-reply@hcms.chims.uppatop.com)

Before you are able to contract with carriers on Sureancebay, you MUST complete your HCMS profile.

WHEN ON-BOARDING IS COMPLETE, HCMS WILL SEND YOU YOUR SURANCEBAY CONTRACTING LINK

Creating carrier requests in Surancebay

Surancebay will start you with these 4 carriers:

Americo

Mutual of Omaha

John Hancock

AIG

THESE CARRIERS DO NOT NEED TO BE REQUESTED IN HCMS AND WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DENIED

Once you have an agent profile you will need to create contract requests in Surancebay

Check your email for the link sent by HCMS

(this cannot be resent so please be vigilant)

10 Business Days after your carrier requests change to "AT CARRIER" FOLLOW UP WITH THEM!


The Admin Team does not receive any communication from the carriers about your individual carrier requests, it is up to you to follow up!

You will not see every carrier in your SureLC, this is normal! New agents will only have the 4 main carriers to start and can request more as their business builds.

STEP 5:
LIMRA- AML TRAINING FOR SURANCE BAY

AFTER you have written your first policy!

You need to call and inform the carrier that you have

"pending Business and need the AML Training Link.​"

Check your email and complete the AML training through the link they provide.

You've Received Your Writing Numbers!

Congratulations! You're ready to sell your first piece of business. Before you hit the phones, be sure to enter any wiring numbers you receive into your HCMS profile as a missing carrier. Compensation and hierarchy changes will ONLY reflect carriers input into your profile so it is essential they are input by you.

To input a missing writing number...

  1. Click the plus sign in the top left corner of your HCMS profile

  2. Click on "New Carrier Request"

  3. Change the new carrier request from new request, to "missing carrier request. 

  4. In the bottom right corner click "add carrier" choose the carrier whose writing number you wish to input, then send the request.
